Ingodinsky district court to speed up
Tomorrow it again examines the complaint by Khodorkovsky, Lebedev and their defence teams
On Tuesday 21 October the Ingodinsky district court in Chita will examine a complaint about the actions (inaction) of the investigators jointly submitted by the Khodorkovsky and Lebedev defence lawyers.
“The hearing is due to begin at 10 am local time (4 am Moscow Time),” lawyer Sergei Kupreichenko told Interfax-Siberia.
As earlier reported, on 13 October the Chita Region Court upheld the appeal by the lawyers for Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev and returned the complaint for reconsideration to the Ingodinsky district court.
The Chita Region Court, therefore, saw an infringement in the actions of the court of the first instance and issued a reprimand to the judge in question for failing to take a procedural decision.
