The Yukos affair has long been a territory that the authorities defend without any reference to the law. The facts as outlined in your statement are quite true. For that reason, regrettably, neither I nor my friends and colleagues can count on any show of justice and legality from the present authorities. Well, that’s up to them.

The future of Russia is linked to those who cannot go against their conscience. Russia’s future lies with you. Thank you for your stand and your uncompromising assertions.
