She is now in a hospital near Moscow

Former Yukos lawyer Svetlana Bakhmina who is about to give birth to a baby girl has been moved from the Federal Penitentiary Service hospital in Mordovia to the Moscow Region. We have just received the information from her lawyer Roman Golovkin.

Golovkin says he was informed of this by Bakhmina’s lawyer in Mordovia Ruslan Smakayev. Having discovered that Bakhmina was no longer at the FPS hospital there, Smakayev got in touch with Mr Netskin, deputy head of regional FPS. Netskin informed the lawyer that Bakhmina had been transferred to an FPS institution in the Moscow Region.

For the time being her lawyers are refraining from comment on their further actions.
