Imprisoned former Yukos lawyer gave birth to a little girl this morning

This morning the imprisoned former Yukos lawyer gave birth to a little girl. We have learned that the newborn infant weighs more than 3 kg and is about 50 cms tall. Both mother and child are well. The parents have not yet decided what to call their daughter. It is still not known where Svetlana gave birth. According to unconfirmed reports, it happened in a Moscow clinic.

The Supreme Court of Mordovia has scheduled its hearing of Bakhmina’s appeal against the refusal to grant her parole for 24 December. Lawyers says that it would be good to give the girl a name by that date so as to present the court with a certificate, confirming the birth of a third child in the family of the prisoner Bakhmina.
