Platon Lebedev Sent to Punishment Cell

Lawyer Evgeny Baru said Platon Lebedev was put into a punishment cell for a week because he refused to go for a walk. Mr. Baru said, “Inmates have a right to take a walk, but they are not obliged to.” He added that this punishment was created in order not to allow Lebedev to prepare for his defence by examining the recently released court records. “These are planned actions; my client won’t be able to work with the documents for a week,” said Baru.
